Condensed matter physics and especially the field of quantum electronic transport through nanostructures and molecules / quantum dots.

Skills

Methods of analytical and numerical description of quantum transport through nanostructures using quantum field theory. Contour formalism of Green’s functions, density functional theory (DFT) and its implementation through the software packages SIESTA and TranSIESTA. Matlab and Mathematica programming languages.
