Research area
- Proton conductivity and electrical properties of BaCeO3 based materials and their application in intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFC).
- Characterization of multiferroic BiFeO3, using doping and codoping as a strategy for tayloring its ferroelectric and magnetic properties.
- Recent interests include development of hybrid composites based on biopolymers and metal oxides, which can be used as environmentally safe pesticides.
Skills
• Synthesis of metal oxide materials by variety of chemical methods:
- auto-combustion method,
- sol-gel synthesis method,
- hydrothermal,
- sonochemical method etc.
Structural analysis and electrical characterization of synthesized materials:
- X-ray diffraction analysis,
- electrochemical impedance spectroscopy,
- ferroelectric measurements.
