Research area

The research interests of Dragica Milosavljević include the enzymatic and non-enzymatic antioxidant components of plants, as well as the analysis of primary and secondary metabolites in strawberries. The research in the doctoral dissertation aims to define the health benefits of metabolites in strawberry fruit, as well as to investigate qualitative and quantitative changes in the content of metabolites in strawberry fruit.

Skills

UV/VIS spectroscopy for determining enzyme activity and analyzing primary and secondary metabolites, as well as electrophoretic techniques (isoelectric focusing) and HPLC methods, along with statistical analysis using SPSS.
