Skills

Anatomical and morphometric analysis of plant material – Study of the internal structure of plant tissue and determination of morphometric parameters.

Preparation of plant material sections using a microtome – Cutting samples and preparing temporary slides for quick microscopic analysis without permanent staining.

Processing scanned samples in ImageJ software – Using software tools to process and analyze images of plant material, including measuring dimensions, areas, and other morphometric parameters.

Working with the Vertex IV device (Haglöf) – An ultrasonic instrument for precise measurement of tree height, horizontal distances, and terrain slope within dendrometric research.

Using a digital caliper – In forestry for accurate measurement of tree diameter at various heights, with data recording in the field.
