PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The aim of the research in the project is development of novel technologies for manufacturing of integrated passive electronic components (IPC) using nanopowders synthesis in our laboratories, which will be significant step forward compared to the current state of development of these technologies in Serbia. The proposed research include: (1) synthesis of nanopowders and processing of ceramic and nanocomposite materials; (2) their structural and functional characterization of IPCs. Planned activities for this project include a full circle in the researches, from theoretical considerations and synthesis of new materials, through design of IPCs, their simulation, modeling, to fabrication and subsequent characterization of the developed components. Proposed multi-disciplinary research team is composed of eminent and young scientists (engineers, physicists, chemists), which is able to fully realize the objectives aimed at solving complex phenomena appearing in the processing of various nanostructured materials during the preparation of integrated passive components. Obtained results would represent an important basis for further development and improvement of this technology, thus giving a chance for attracting investments of domestic and foreign companies in Serbia.
