PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The study of physical processes in the synthesis of a large number of new nanostructured materials using a number of physical methods. Nanostructured materials will be produced by the following methods: ion spray for the deposition of thin films and multilayer structures, ion implantation for modification, introduction of impurities and synthesis of nanostructures using laser radiation in air and in vacuum, depositing materials by pulsed laser irradiation, thermal treatment in vacuum. Nanomagnetic materials will be synthesized by various methods such as: sol-gel, self-propagation high-temperature synthesis, spin and submersible deposition, high energy ball milling. The subject of this investigastion is induction of non-equilibrium reactions, the formation of intermetallics nanoalloy and metastable phases. Multi-layer bi-metal (Al / Ti, Ni / Ti) structure will consist of 10 to 50 individual layers (thickness of 5 to 20 nm) of these metals, alternately deposited on various substrates. These structures will be exposed to ion beams of argon and xenon, the energy of 100-500 keV and doses up to 1xE17 ions/cm2 in order to form intermetallic compounds AlTi3, Al3Ti, Alti, Ni3Ti, etc., at room temperature, which is not achievable by conventional methods. |
