The project was recognized as a high-quality project proposal in a highly competitive evaluation process, but could not receive funding due to budgetary constraints and is therefore recommended by the European Commission for funding by other sources.

4.Other professional activities

Particular contribution to scientific research I provided as a team leader and the main organizer of five archaeoacoustic research missions of sacred heritage of Serbia, as well as the organizer of three international scientific conferences held in Belgrade. I was invited to give three lectures to international audience in English:

  • 26/11/2019 “Researching sound in European Architectural Heritage,” École nationale supérieure d’ingénieurs de Poitiers, University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France – Academic lecture to the Department of Lighting, Acoustics and Thermal studies
  • 27/11/2019 “Archaeoacoustic research of medieval churches in Serbia,” École nationale supérieure d’ingénieurs de Poitiers, University of Poitiers, Poitiers, France – Academic lecture to the Department of Lighting, Acoustics and Thermal studies
  • 20/12/2018 “Researching sound in sacral architecture of Balkans,” Balkansko arhitektonsko bijenale, Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade – Public lecture

Authored exhibitions:

  • The exhibition Archaeoacoustics: Sacred Architecture of Medieval Serbia presented the overview of archaeoacoustic research questions in our studies. After originally shown at the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade, due to the significant public interest, the exhibition was also presented in other cities in Serbia, including National museum in Pančevo, National museum in Požarevac as an opening event of Museum Night 2018, and Krajina museum in Negotin as a part of the prestigious manifestation Days of Mokranjac.
  • The exhibition Laboratory of the Outstanding – the Heritage of Serbian Chemistry took place at the Gallery of Science and Technology, Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts in Belgrade, in 2013. The exhibition included 10 lectures of experts in the field of history of science. More than 6400 people, mainly school children, visited the exhibition.

Courses taught:

  • From 2006 to 2009 i was working as a student teaching assistant on bachelor and master studies in the studio of Professor Zoran Lazović at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Belgrade.

Reviewer’s activity (journals, books, projects):

  • I did scientific reviews for the following international peer-reviewed journals: Applied Acoustics (Elsevier, Impact factor: 2.440), International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health (Open Access, MDPI, Impact factor: 849), Acoustics (Open Access, MDPI), Buildings (Open Access, MDPI), Journal of Archaeological Method and Theory (Springer Nature, IF 2.828).

Current:

  • 2019 – present. Bilateral project Formation et Recherche en Acoustique Architecturale Ancienne, Groupe de Soutien à l’Internationales (G.S.I.) project. Collaboration with Prof. Jean-Christophe Valière, University of Poitiers, France. The G.S.I. project included the joint fieldwork for collecting archaeoacoustic data on acoustic vessels in Brittany and Serbia
