Research area

  • Valorization of mineral industrial waste based on fly ash from thermal power plants and ground granulated blast furnace slag in building materials industrty. Alkali activation of fly ash and blast furnace slag and the synthesis of thermal insulating and/or fire resistant building materials based on alkali-activated industrial wastes/by-product.
  • Thermodynamic characterization of aqueous solutions of electrolytes by isopiestic method and electromotive force (emf) measurements. Treatment of experimental data by thermodynamic models.

Skills

Measurements by using following methods: XRD, ICP, FTIR, EMF and isopiestic method. Programming language Matlab.
