Research area

I am engaged in research in the field of biotechnology – forestry, particularly in the fields of forest ecology, phytoremediation and environmental protection. My studies include the assessment of exposure, risks, and environmental impacts of pollutants with a focus on natural and anthropogenic sources of pollutants, the fate and effects of toxic heavy metals in natural and contaminated environments.

3.Other professional activities

In addition to scientific work in Serbia, she was also very successful in pedagogical work in the Republic of Srpska. She makes a special contribution by engaging in scientific and organizational committees of domestic and international conferences.

Courses taught:

  • Within master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Forestry, University of Belgrade, she is engaged in the following subjects: Bioremediation, Physiology of Woody Plants and Anatomical-Physiological Basics of Woody Plants.
