Research area

• Proton conductivity and electrical properties of BaCeO3 based materials and their application in intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFC).
• Characterization of multiferroic BiFeO3, using doping and codoping as a strategy for tayloring its ferroelectric and magnetic properties.
• Recent interests include development of hybrid composites based on biopolymers and metal oxides, which can be used as environmentally safe pesticides.

Skills

• Synthesis of metal oxide materials by variety of chemical methods: auto-combustion method, sol-gel synthesis method, hydrothermal, sonochemical method etc.
• Structural analysis and electrical characterization of synthesized materials: X-ray diffraction analysis, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, ferroelectric measurements.
