Education

 

2009-2016: Ph.D. student at the Faculty of Biology (Hidroecology), University of Belgrade.

 

2008: B.Sc. in Environment Protection, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. Graduate thesis: “Environmental impact of the mussel farm Mytilus galloprovincialis (Lamark, 1819) in the Dražin Vrt locality (Bokokotorska bay)”.

 

Work Experience

 

2016-present:  Research Fellow, Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade.

 

2013-2016: Research Assistant, Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade.

 

2010-2013: Research Trainee, Institute for Multidisciplinary Research, University of Belgrade.

 

2010: Teaching Assistant (part-time hired), Department of Animal Ecology and Geography, Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade.

• Invasive alien species of fish.

• Management of fish resources.

• Population research of fish species.

• Conservation biology.

• Aquaculture.

 

Other Professional Activities

 

• As a member of NGO “Ekoforum” and Network “Natura2000 Resource Center of Serbia” participated in numerous workshops: Project Cicle Management, Raising Institutional Capacities of Environmental NGOs in the Western Balkans, ABC on EU and Natura2000 etc.

 

• In 2011 participated in “Researchers Night”.

 

• In 2010 participated in the first TEDx Belgrade Conference and Science Festival, as a speaker.

 

• In 2009 started working on the project “Population research of alien, invasive fish species in Sava Lake”.

 

• In 2009 participated in the first Model OSCE Serbia 2009 simulation of conference.

 

• In 2008 finished R2 CMAS SCUBA diver training course.

 

• In 2007 student of International Graduate School of Conservation Biology, Center for Marine Research, Rudjer Boskovic Institute (Rovinj, Croatia).

 

• In 2005 participated in project “Bentic biocenoses of Montenegrin coastal sea” in the Institute of Marine Biology in Kotor.
